Hi, I’m Cindy Grant, and I’m 29 years old. I’m a housewife of my loving and hardworking husband Marco, and a mommy of an energetic toddler and baby girl who just turned one. I didn’t have to go through the whole process of adjusting to a new location and new neighbors as I’m settled in my home town. My own little family lives next to my parents’ house. And guess what, I’m still my parents’ baby girl! I’m their only daughter. I confess that I don’t know what life would be without my parents. From the moment my first baby came into this world, my parents have always been there for me and my husband. I also have to admit having free babysitting next door is such a cool thing!
My mom and I used to be in a love-and-hate relationship when I was still very young, wild and free. But surprisingly, we turned out to be best of friends! My parents are super cool grandma and grandpa to my kiddos. While my husband works, my mom and I bond over lunch. She comes to our house before midday and she stays until afternoon. My mom taught me everything I need to know about taking care of a baby and a toddler, especially when they get sick. You may say I’m very lucky because I have all the moral and physical support. But how many of you know that there are also challenges that come with it. I am indeed very lucky and glad to have my parents next door. But there’s really more to it.
I have an awesome relationship with my parents and so does my husband. But I’ll be really honest about this adventure. If you’re a wife, a mother, and a daughter like me, I’m glad you’re here! Don’t ever hesitate to connect with me and other mommies by commenting and sharing your thoughts. All posts in this blog will be related to your different roles; as wife, mommy, and daughter. I desire to empower, inspire and assure you that you can totally do this!
